Family therapy provides a safe and confidential place for families to work on resolving conflicts and increasing communication. It provides a place for the family to build trust and coping skills to work through different phases or challenges of life. Family therapy can be helpful in many family situations such as stress, anxiety, grief, a trauma that may have effected the family, family transitions, (divorce, adoption, a new baby, moving, career change) anger, conflict, and communication.
